The pub is now a Freehouse so the bar is stocked with a wide choice of drinks at fair prices. There is a restaurant area that provides a good value menu for many tastes. Local fresh produce is sourced where possible thus supporting Island business, as well as cutting down on produce travel miles.
This large traditional pub was built in 1843 and is situated opposite Osborne House - Queen Victoria’s favourite residence. With a wealth of history the pub was used by the Osborne Estate to accommodate staff of Royal Visitors as well as stabling. It has a pleasant renovated interior and en suite accommodation. There are many traditional pub activities, sky TV and regular live music in a friendly, family atmosphere.
